Helen Baker, Business Manager at Al-Marah Arabians from 1977-1985. Al-Marah Arabians was the largest privately owned Arabian horse breeding farm in the world and Helen was responsible for the registration of all the foals, sale of the breeding by stallions at stud, sale of the horses to other breeders and clientele, customer relations, entering the show horses in horse shows so they could qualify for the annual National Arabian Horse Show as well as the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. Al-Marah always had several show horses in both these national shows in various categories of competition and frequently won championships in those various categories.
In 1985, Helen became the Franchise Sales Director for AlphaGraphics Printshops of the Future and remained in that position until 2002. She was responsible for the sale of franchises within the United States and, initially, internationally as well. AlphaGraphics enjoyed steady growth within the franchise industry and was a well-respected company within the franchise community. Helen’s relationship with the franchisees was, in large part, a key in their support and endorsement of the proliferation of AlphaGraphics franchise locations.
In 2002, Helen became a Realtor and sold Residential Real Estate in the Tucson market. She was a top producer and enjoyed success in real estate until she semi-retired in 2011 and fully retired in 2014.
In 2019, Rodger Ford, Developer of Red Hawk J6, approached Helen to do on-site sales for this development. Because of Helen’s relationship with Rodger when he hired her to work for AlphaGraphics in 1985 (Rodger was the owner/founder of AlphaGraphics), After learning more about Red Hawk J6 and visiting the site Helen decided to come out of retirement to assist in the development of Red Hawk J6.
